When you receive your extensions

Your IVRIE Hair Extensions are made from 100% human hair and are designed to provide beautiful, natural-looking results when properly maintained.

To maximize the lifespan of your extensions, we recommend using high-quality, sulfate-free hair care products. For best results, use the IVRIE Hair Care Collection, specifically formulated to nourish, hydrate, and maintain both your natural hair and extensions.

Proper care will help preserve the softness, shine, and longevity of your investment.

Cleansing your extensions

Proper cleansing is one of the most important steps in maintaining the quality and lifespan of your extensions.

We recommend washing your extensions with IVRIE Moisture Shampoo and Moisture Conditioner or another sulfate-free, vegan-friendly shampoo and conditioner. Harsh cleansers can strip moisture from the hair, leading to dryness, tangling, and unnecessary shedding.

Before washing, gently detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb, always starting at the ends and working your way upward.

Thoroughly wet the hair with lukewarm water and apply a generous amount of conditioner or a moisturizing shampoo.

Using a wide-tooth comb, gently detangle the hair from the ends to the roots. Never begin detangling at the top, as this may cause unnecessary stress on the hair.

Rinse thoroughly and allow the hair to air dry whenever possible. If using a blow dryer, use a low to medium heat setting.

Keep your extensions tangle-free

To maintain healthy, beautiful extensions, proper daily maintenance is essential.

Sleep with a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase to reduce friction while you sleep. Cotton pillowcases can absorb moisture and cause tangling, dryness, and frizz.

Regularly detangle the hair using a wide-tooth comb, beginning at the ends and working upward toward the roots.

When additional moisture is needed, apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner and a small amount of IVRIE Amethyst Oil to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair.

Heat styling

Because IVRIE Extensions are made from 100% human hair, they can be curled, flat ironed, and styled with heat.

However, excessive heat can shorten the lifespan of your extensions over time.

To protect your investment, we recommend:

• Always using a heat protectant before styling.

• Using the lowest effective heat setting.

• Avoiding unnecessary daily heat styling.

• Allowing the hair to air dry whenever possible.

While your natural hair receives nourishment from your scalp, extensions do not. Using excessive heat without proper moisture can lead to dryness and breakage.

Deep conditioning

To keep your extensions soft, hydrated, and manageable, we recommend deep conditioning every 2–4 weeks.

For best results, use the IVRIE Deep Repair Treatment to restore moisture, improve manageability, and maintain the integrity of the hair.

After deep conditioning:

Rinse thoroughly.

Gently blot excess water using a microfiber towel.

Allow the hair to air dry whenever possible.

Consistent deep conditioning will help preserve the softness, shine, and longevity of your extensions while keeping them looking their best between salon visits.
